Al's Sport Store was built in 1983 and the Downsville Motel built in 1990, this has become a well-known gem in Downsville NY to offer our customers a clean & affordable place to stay while enjoying all the area has to offer. What started out as a hobby has now become our passion and we're delighted to share it with you. Located at the foot of the Pepacton Reservoir on the East Branch of the Delaware River off Routes 30 & 206, Al's Sport Store is a canoe & kayak outfitter for the East Branch of The Delaware River and the Pepacton Reservoir.

We specialize in trophy trout fishing for the Pepacton Reservoir and all surrounding rivers and lakes in the Catskills. We carry live bait seasonally. We are an authorized agent for issuance of NY State Hunting & Fishing licenses.
